Deficiency Free 2018

January 2018: Terra Vista achieved one of the highest designations of quality care and services:

A deficiency-free rating in this year’s annual licensure inspection by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

This inspection ensures that the implementation of all services and care plans are to quality standards that meet or exceed all regulatory requirements.

How is this inspection conducted?

The inspection is unannounced and performed without notice. Communities are scored based on these core criteria: quality care, safety, staff training, food service, nursing care, and resident rights. Typically, an experienced nurse carefully observes and evaluates all aspects of resident care and procedural policy to assess the level of compliance with specific state and federal standards.

Terra Vista’s Marks

Terra Vista was rated 100% in compliance and issued a deficiency-free survey rating. During the exit interview, the State Inspector was very complimentary of our professionalism and the knowledge that our staff has of our residents.

We are incredibly proud of our community and our staff. It’s not easy to obtain a perfect rating, especially considering the numerous areas our team must address on a daily basis. It is a testament to Terra Vista’s excellence in all facets of care and the exceptional standard we hold ourselves to each day. This deficiency-free rating also comes after only one year in operation, which fills us with an even greater sense of accomplishment and motivation to keep exceeding expectations.
