Each team member is certified in Alzheimer’s care.

We are totally committed to quality dementia care practices. All team members are required to undergo a thorough background check, extensive screening and a behavioral interviewing process. But that’s just for starters.

  • SPECIALIZED TRAINING: Every staff member at Terra Vista, from our senior leadership to our receptionist and housekeepers, must successfully complete specialized training of basic and advanced dementia care techniques as well as learning evidence-based practices.
  • CONTINUING EDUCATION: Each staff member is also required to participate in continuing Alzheimer’s education and is highly encouraged to matriculate through advanced courses and attain higher certification levels.
  • PRE-EMPLOYMENT BEHAVIORAL TESTING: We use the proven pre-employment Wonderlic® test to help ensure your loved one is being cared for by team members with just the right temperament and personality characteristics to meet his or her individual needs.
