Lombard, IL August 29, 2014 – Nancy McCaffrey, Director of Senior Housing Development for Terra Vista, had the honor of opening “Coffee and Conversation with Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth.” The Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Illinois Chapter hosted the event. The event was a rare opportunity for health care professionals and caregivers in the 8th Congressional District to meet in a small, casual setting with the Congresswoman. Attendees shared personal stories and asked questions regarding what steps Washington DC will take to raise awareness and aid the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
